First light has made our transition with my grandma getting out of the hospital post stroke so much easier. They genuinely care and go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable with everyone who comes in my grandparents home to care … More for them. I don’t have to worry about them being taken care of when I’m not there because I know they are safe with the caregivers. I would strongly recommend using this company! -
I just had another call from Heather at FirstLight-she was just calling to check in to see how things were going with my Mom's care-she does this regularly and her calls are always meaningful. Between her and Lauren H. we could not … More ask for better! They both go above and beyond to be sure all of our needs are met-and they never disappoint! We have been using FirstLight for my Mom since the summer and they are great! The caregivers are really caring as well. The staff listens intently and are always there to help. We truly appreciate the care that they show our Mom and family! Thank you Heather! And Lauren…and the rest of the folks at FirstLight! -

First lite has been taking care of my 89 yr old father for About a year, now. For the most part, I am very pleased with them. We have had some ups and downs with people not showing up for the shift, and I have to work. In my opinion they … More should be more strict on the people who don't show up. Like old school, a dr.note, perhaps. Also, they have put new girls in my dad's house without training. In my opinion,again, they should have at least 3 unpaid shifts to follow a caregiver who has been there for a while. Other than that, there are some great girls that work for 1st lite, and they do their best with call-ins ,but be prepared, you might have to find someone yourself.some of the girls scheduled for weekends especially, dont show, then ur stuck. But, they do try to find someone. Make sure you tell them what you need and are looking for. Heather and her team put their heart and souls into their work. As well as some of the cargivers. I would hire them again, however, it is expensive, but no more than any other. They are all expensive! I love all the girls, and appreciate everything they have done for us! -
Excellent home care service for my mom with dementia. The health workers that came by were very courteous and supportive to her wants and need. Never had any issues or problems and that’s a good sign with me. My mom also felt comfortable … More with them too and that’s the biggest reason to me. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. -
I love working with this group!! Heather is a go to resource for this area, her and her team are on it at all times! I know when I’ve got someone in need to reach out to Heather for her help, she’s always willing to see how she can assist. … More I know she will go above and beyond to make sure all patients and clients are cared for, and she will seek outside resources if needed! -
